Welcome to the Story of Roary web page....
The Story of Roary is a series of 10 soccer devotionals geared to help coaches encourage and motivate their players through a fun and interactive "team time." This first book has been written for soccer coaches working with children ages 3 to 10 years old.
The history of Roary: Through the years of being a sports ministry director I found that having a "team time," or team devotional, was essential to the overall purpose of character development. I struggled from year to year, sport to sport, to find a quality devotional series for younger children. So I developed the cartoon character "Roary" and his friends. Each devotion is fashioned in a way that the kids can enjoy the color cartoon illustration while the coach is reading the story.
I have found that the children and the coaches both look forward to "team time" each week.
